Dr. Stapleton’s passion for orthodontics began with her own treatment at age 10, which boosted her self-esteem and well-being. She now takes pride in helping patients achieve the same confidence through their smiles.
A Virginia native, Dr. Stapleton earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, her dental degree from VCU School of Dentistry, and her orthodontics certificate from Tufts School of Dental Medicine. She became board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics in 2023 and continues to stay updated through ongoing education.
Dr. Stapleton has received multiple awards for academic excellence. While at Tufts, she received the 2021 and 2022 Dr. Rothenberg-Furman Scholarship Award and the 2022
Gheewalla Scholarship Award in recognition of her academic achievement.
Dr. Stapleton is also an active member of several professional societies, including the American Association of Orthodontics and the Virginia Dental Association. For two years after residency, Dr. Stapleton worked at Carilion Clinic as a member of the cleft and craniofacial team treating complex cases with cleft lip and palate, airway concerns, and craniofacial anomalies.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Carl, traveling, reading, crafting, dancing, CrossFit, and outdoor activities.
